Life can be challenging, and at times we all find ourselves feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, grief, life transitions, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy offers an opportunity to better understand your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply rooted in trauma-informed care. Together, we'll work to better understand your experiences, build practical tools for navigating life's challenges, and create a path forward that feels authentic, sustainable, and aligned with your values.
Individual counseling is provided virtually through a secure telehealth platform, allowing you to access therapy from the comfort and privacy of your own space. Insurance and private-pay options are available.
I work with adults (18+) from all walks of life. Some people come to therapy because they're experiencing significant emotional distress, while others simply want to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, or navigate life's challenges with greater confidence.
I frequently work with individuals experiencing:
Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply feel that something in your life needs to change, therapy can provide a supportive space to explore what's happening and identify a meaningful path forward.
I believe every person makes sense in the context of their life experiences.
Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" I strive to understand, "What happened to you?" and perhaps even more importantly, "How did your experiences shape the ways you've learned to survive?"
Many of the patterns that bring people to therapy—overthinking, perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, avoidance, shutting down, or difficulty trusting others—once served an important purpose. They were adaptive responses to difficult circumstances.
Rather than judging these patterns, we'll approach them with curiosity and compassion. We'll honor the ways they've protected you while exploring whether they continue to serve the life you want to build today.
I don't believe therapy is about fixing people.
I believe it's about helping people better understand themselves, reconnect with their strengths, strengthen resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Therapy is more than simply having someone listen—it's an active, collaborative process.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, challenged when appropriate, and genuinely understood. I value authenticity, curiosity, and practical problem-solving, and I believe lasting change happens when insight is paired with intentional action.
Together we'll explore patterns, understand emotions, identify obstacles, celebrate strengths, and develop practical strategies that support your goals. At times we'll process difficult experiences; at other times we'll focus on building new skills or finding different ways of responding to life's challenges.
Every session is guided by your goals, your values, and what feels most important to you.
No two people are exactly alike, and I don't believe therapy should be one-size-fits-all.
Every treatment plan is thoughtfully tailored to your unique needs, goals, strengths, and life experiences. Rather than relying on a single therapeutic model, I integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches, including:
These approaches aren't used for their own sake—they're thoughtfully selected based on what will best support your growth, healing, and overall well-being.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I balance warmth and compassion with honesty, curiosity, and practical guidance.
While we'll spend time exploring your experiences and gaining deeper insight, we'll also focus on helping you build meaningful tools that you can use outside of our sessions. My hope is that therapy becomes something you actively apply to your everyday life—not something that exists only during our time together.
Healing isn't about becoming someone different.
It's about discovering who you are beneath the stress, pain, and adaptations you've developed throughout your life, and learning to move through the world with greater awareness, flexibility, resilience, and self-compassion.
All counseling sessions are provided virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.
Many clients discover that virtual therapy offers unexpected benefits. Meeting from the comfort of your own home (or office, or car...) often creates a greater sense of ease, eliminates travel time, and makes it easier to consistently prioritize your mental health.
Telehealth also allows me to work with adults throughout Massachusetts, making high-quality, specialized care more accessible regardless of where you live.
Beginning therapy is a meaningful step, and finding the right therapist is an important part of that journey.
If my approach resonates with you, I'd be honored to support you as we work together toward greater understanding, resilience, and meaningful change.
